1-1/8 inch square of brass sheet has embossed pattern brought out with oxidation. Solid sheet in the back has artwork mounted to the forward surface, sealed to protect it. Open "windows" on the front brass sheet allows you to peer inside. Front and back are joined with beaded rivets, open space maintained between layers. Can be worn as pin with barpin clasp, or as pendant from bail ring hidden in back.
