Second Sole ceramics by Stephanie Fischer and Ian Johnston of Canada. The Hopper Vessel is so named because the body form is reminiscent of an upturned hopper. It will hold liquid (white glazed interior), but is not designed to pour, better as a vase. The square detachable top can be used to burn cone-shaped incense. These are hand-built slab ceramic, the exterior is distressed like charcoal gray concrete with shallow craters, craters have cornflower blue and cobalt glazes. Tall vase is 15 inches (without top), short is 13 inches.
